Kevin Hart Released From Hospital After Car Crash, Living In Rehab Facility

Kevin Hart has checked out of the hospital and is living in a rehab facility, as per TMZ.

In a new report by the celebrity gossip outlet, the 40-year-old comedian is doing intense physical therapy in a facility to recover from his car crash injuries and surgeries. Insiders close to the situation revealed that the star is "glad" to get out of the Los Angeles hospital that he's called home for 10 days. Hart's goal is to get home "as soon as possible," where he can start outpatient care. "I'm grateful to be alive," he reportedly told the insider.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Hart had to be taken to a hospital after suffering from "major back injuries" in a car crash around 1 AM in the Malibu Hills. According to police sources, actor Jared S. Black, who was the driver of Hart's 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, lost control of the vehicle on Mulholland Highway, which smashed through a wooden fence and ending up in a ditch about 10 feet off the side of the road. Black's fiancé Rebecca Broxterman was also in the vehicle. While Black was also injured because of the accident, Hart underwent back surgery, where they fused three areas around his spine.

Meanwhile, Hart's wife, Eniko Hart, has remained by his side since the nearly fatal crash. "Eniko hasn’t left his bedside. She's his wife. They're a team. They're so committed," the source admitted. "Everything he does in life is for his family."
