Britney Spears' Child Support Battle With Kevin Federline Just Escalated

Britney Spears' child support battle with ex Kevin Federline just intensified as the pop titan's father is demanding to see the former backup dancer's 2017 tax returns to see if his working income does indeed require a bigger budget to care for the pairs' two children: Sean and Jayden James.

On Wednesday (March 22), TMZ learned that K-Fed's lawyer sent father Jamie Spears a notice demanding her 2017 tax return, with Kevin receiving the same letter later on. Sources close to the situation revealed that Jamie is not going to agree to pay Kevin more than his usual $20,000 a month until the former backup dancer offers up an accounting plan on how his money is spent. "Jamie believes Kevin is misusing some of the $20k by spending it on his four other children from different women," the site reported.

Ultimately, if a judge believes that the two children do indeed need more from Kevin, he's reportedly down to pay up. However, for the time being, the kids' needs haven't changed much, so the question remains: Why should Kevin get more than his usual amount of child support to raise the pair?

In related news, Britney Inc. continues to flourish as Kenzo has announced that Spears will be their new face of the luxury fashion campaign's Collection Memento N° 2 line and it features "the quintessential queen of denim" back in some pieces that nod back to her infamous look from the '01 AMA with Justin Timberlake.
